Ms. Tanguay was born in June and her hometown is Sandwich, MA. She went to college at Westfield State College.
Favorite teacher? My favorite teacher was my 5th grade teacher, Mr. Mulkeen. He always made learning fun. I remember one math problem he gave us where he promised that anyone who could hand-write the numbers from 1-1,000,000 in a weekend would get straight A’s for the rest of the year and he would bring them cookies and juice every day. All of us thought we could do it and some of us tried very hard. Little did we know it is actually impossible to do in a weekend! If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt? When I was in college there was a small period of time where I was deciding between being a child psychologist and a teacher, but really I have wanted to teach ever since I was in the 1st grade! Do you have pets? No, but my daughter is really pushing for a puppy! Favorite Color? Yellow Favorite Quote or Saying? “It’s not where, but who you are with that really matters.” Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled? France and Italy Favorite Food? Pasta and chocolate Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in? Keeping up with my 5 year old daughter keeps me busy, but in my free time I love to read, spend time at the beach, and hang out with friends and family.
