We Need You for the 2024/2025 School Year!

We invite you to join our team! All are welcome, including families, educators, and community members. See the descriptions of our open positions below. We are most in need to help to support our youngest students at BES. Committee and general members are always needed at all four schools.
  • Bourne PTA Membership Chairperson :  The Membership Chair serves on the main Bourne PTA board and is responsible for maintaining our membership list, managing dues, corresponding with current members, and soliciting new ones at all four of our public schools and beyond. We are an organization looking to grow and our Membership Chair is an important part of helping us to reach this goal!

  • Bournedale Elementary PTA Chair or Co-Chair Team:  The BES PTA chair (or co-chair team!) is the leader of the PTA committee at Bournedale Elementary. This person (or persons) builds and leads their committee in event and fundraising planning and annual budget management. The BES PTA coordinates two Scholastic book fairs annually. Past fundraisers include Boosterthon and the monthly Book Nook. In 2023/2024, the BES PTA help monthly Family Fun Night events, each with a different theme.

  • Committee Members: Support the Committee Chairperson (or co-chairs!) for the school where your children are. Share your ideas and help organize fundraisers and programs that will enhance your child’s school experience. We welcome as many committee members as possible and all who are interested!
