Ms. Perry was born in August and her hometown is Bourne, MA. She went to college at Keene State College.
Favorite teacher? My fourth-grade teacher, Jan Hughill, was my favorite teacher for many reasons. I remember her reading to us every day. She had an expressive reading voice and chose excellent stories. I felt transported as she read, which fueled my interest in science fiction. She made me feel smart and special. She held a math contest, and I won. She took three of us out for ice cream sundaes as a prize. She made me feel worthy of her time. She believed in me. She encouraged me to go to Keene State, and even visited me while I was at college. She made me feel like I had something important to contribute. If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt? I would have liked to try anything in the science field. I always wanted to be an astronaut. Do you have pets? I take care of a friend’s dog and two cats all summer. I feel like they are mine! Favorite Color? Ocean Blue Favorite Quote or Saying? “Don’t give up. I believe in you all. A person’s a person, no matter how small.”-Dr. Seuss Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled? I spend every summer in my favorite place, Siesta Key, Florida. I love the beach! Favorite Food? Lobster is my families’ favorite treat! Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in? I can't let a week go by without attending a yoga class. I also like kickboxing and Barre class. I also spend many hours watching my two boys play baseball.
