Mr. Smith was born in March and his hometown is Centerville, MA.  He attended college at Ithaca, NY - Undergrad; Masters - Cambridge, MA; Doctorate- Jacksonville, FL. 
Favorite teacher?  
My father was my band director in middle school and high school. I always know my life would revolve around music.
If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt?   
​Probably something math related, but it would have to involve creativity!
Do you have pets?   2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 birds, one bearded dragon, and 2 large fish tanks
Favorite Color?   Purple definitely!

Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled?   Paris
Favorite Food?   Italian, anything with pasta
Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in? gardening and kayaking, or anything outdoors

Dr. Abrahamson in college, very funny and very smart.
If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt?   
​Actual science or computer programming.
Do you have pets?   No, but I grew up with many dogs.
Favorite Color?   Green, I think.  No strong feelings there.

Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled?   Colorado
Favorite Food?   Steak tips.
Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in?  I like to run, hike in the White Mountains, and ride bike paths.

​Ms. Vidito was born in June and her hometown is Scarsdale, NY.  She attended college at UMASS – Amherst (undergrad); Bridgewater State University (Master’s Degree).
Favorite teacher?  
Mr. Gittins; he was my physics teacher senior year in high school and inspired my love of physics and hands-on learning. We did so many labs that I remember to this day.
If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt?   I would love to design exhibits for museums.
Do you have pets?   A greyhound named Belle and a Leopard Gecko named Leo.
Favorite Color?   Blue
Favorite Quote or Saying?  For my students and my kids – Think before you Do! 
Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled?   South East Alaska
Favorite Food?   Ice Cream!!
Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in?  I love spending time with my family of course. I love to bake cookies and muffins. I also love to swim and joined Masters this past spring.

Mr. Fitzpatrick because he was silly sometimes!

Heather Sivil, Peebles 3rd gr SPED teacher

Ms. Sivil was born in February and her hometown is New Bedford, MA (recently moved to recently moved to Mattapoisett).  She attended college at Fitchburg State.
Favorite teacher?  
4th grade Mr. Hitchcock. He was funny and caring.  He also took the time to get to know his students really well.
If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt?   Small business managing parties, functions, etc.  I’ve also dreamed about opening up a Learning Center with a kids outreach program.
Do you have pets?   I have an English Lab named Bear.
Favorite Color?   I don’t have a favorite but I like grays, blues, and earth colors.

I love quilting, walking, and yoga.  I camp a lot with my husband and two girls.  My girls and I craft for every holiday.

​Ms. Tanguay was born in June and her hometown is Sandwich, MA.  She went to college at Westfield State College.
Favorite teacher?  
My favorite teacher was my 5th grade teacher, Mr. Mulkeen.  He always made learning fun. I remember one math problem he gave us where he promised that anyone who could hand-write the numbers from 1-1,000,000 in a weekend would get straight A’s for the rest of the year and he would bring them cookies and juice every day.  All of us thought we could do it and some of us tried very hard. Little did we know it is actually impossible to do in a weekend!
If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt?   When I was in college there was a small period of time where I was deciding between being a child psychologist and a teacher, but really I have wanted to teach ever since I was in the 1st grade!
Do you have pets?   No, but my daughter is really pushing for a puppy!
Favorite Color?  Yellow
Favorite Quote or Saying?  “It’s not where, but who you are with that really matters.”
Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled?   France and Italy
Favorite Food?  Pasta and chocolate
Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in?   Keeping up with my 5 year old daughter keeps me busy, but in my free time I love to read, spend time at the beach, and hang out with friends and family.

Ms. Wesson was born in July and her hometown is Bourne, MA.  She went to college at Bridgewater State University (undergraduate in elementary education & history) and American International College (graduate studies in moderate disabilities prek-8)
Favorite teacher?  
My favorite teacher is Mrs. Strode. She inspired me to follow my dream of being a teacher. She always cared about her students in the classroom and out of school. I am lucky enough to keep in contact with her today!
If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt?   If I were not in education I would like to be a nurse at Children’s Hospital in Boston. I would also like to try a law profession.
Do you have pets?   I have a one year old golden retriever named Callie.
Favorite Color?  Purple
Favorite Quote or Saying?  “Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you” -Dr. Seuss
Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled?   My favorite place to travel and the farthest place I have been is Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
Favorite Food?  Macaroni & Cheese!
Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in?   During the winter I love to go skiing. I spend a lot of my time up at Sunday River in Maine. I also enjoy traveling to different places in New England. During the summer, I enjoy going to the beach. My favorite weekend activity is going to Target!

Ms. Saja was born in August and her hometown is Sandwich, MA (currently Plymouth).  She went to college at Fitchburg State University.
Favorite teacher?  Mrs. Lemay – Third Grade. She made all of our learning fun. She was a positive role model to all students. I used to love when she would send home the extra papers for me to play school with!
If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt?   I always knew I wanted to be a teacher- since I was little! If I could pursue another avenue, I would probably have to choose something with art.
Do you have pets?   Yes- a black cat, named Ruby. She runs our house!
Favorite Color?  Green
Favorite Quote or Saying?  Live. Laugh. Love.
Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled?   Jamaica
Favorite Food?  ​Macaroni and Cheese
Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in?  I am currently preparing for the birth of my first child- a boy, due in May! When I find time, I like to paint, garden, and make jewelry.

Ms. Whalen-O'Shea was born in February and her hometown is Braintree, MA.  She went to college at Pine Manor College in
Chestnut Hill MA (undergraduate) and Wheelock, Boston MA (graduate).
Favorite teacher? Mr. Campbell – 4th grade. He was an animal lover and had tons of animals in his classroom. I learned so much about animals and science from him. He also drove a powder blue VW bug and I thought that was cool.
If you were not in education, what other profession would you like to attempt? A veterinarian
Do you have pets? Yes. A dog, a rabbit, a Russian tortoise, a leopard gecko, 6 Chickens and a fish.
Favorite color? Purple
Favorite Quote or Saying? “Always leave them laughing”
Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled? Ireland
Favorite Food? Ice Cream and sushi (but not together)
Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in? I love to read. My number 1 favorite thing to do is be with my kids and husband.
