Ms. O-Hara was born in February and her hometown is Plymouth, MA (but Bourne has been my hometown for the last 20 years). She went to college at Bridgewater State College.
Favorite teacher? Mrs. Thompson was my favorite teacher when I was in High School. She was very enthusiastic about her subject: History. She had been in the military so she had real experiences to share. She was also very kind and encouraged students to do their best. If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt? If I wasn’t a teacher, I think a photographer would be a fun job to have. I love to take pictures of people and nature. I would love to have more time to get better at it! Do you have pets? A cat - she is only one years old. She was born in my backyard and we rescued her. Favorite Color? Aquamarine Favorite Quote or Saying? “The more you read, the more you know. The more you know, the smarter you grow. The smarter you grow, the stronger your voice, when speaking your mind or making your choice.” ~National Library Week (some say by Dr. Seuss) Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled? Jamaica Favorite Food? Any kind of ice cream! Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in? I am not involved in any organization right now but my family was a host family and I was a board member for the Bourne Braves organization for many years. It was a great way to spend our summers when my children were younger!!
