Ms. Doyle-Hogue was born in August and her hometown is Duxbury, MA. She went to college at Quinnipiac University.
Favorite teacher? My 9 th grade History and EHAP teacher, Mrs. DeOrsay. I loved her way of incorporating art into her history lesson plans as means of teaching. The lesson on the symbolism of Renaissance art and her use of “The Arnolfini” was one of the most memorable and interesting lessons. I still consider the field trip to the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum and the scavenger hunt she created to be one of the most amazing learning experiences I had in high school. I consider her an inspiration in how I approach teaching my content and she is why I became a teacher. If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt? An attorney or a chef Do you have pets? No Favorite Color? Yellow Favorite Quote or Saying? “No matter where you are going, there you are” Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled? Russia Favorite Food? Medittereanean Cuisine Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in? I enjoy the warmer weather as it allows for me to take my daughter to play outside. I love going on long walks on the Shining Sea Bikeway and spending time on our boat in Woods Hole in the summertime. I also enjoy cooking and experiment with new, creative recipes.
