If you were not in education, what other profession would you like to attempt? When I absolutely can no longer teach kindergarten teach I would love to teach Early Childhood at the college level and/or write curriculum full time. Do you have pets? A cocker spaniel, Gracie Green, who according to my own two kids is “my favorite child!” Favorite color? Green (yes, really!) Favorite Quote or Saying? “Promise me you’ll always remember, you’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” A.A. Milne (Winnie the Pooh) Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled? I spent time in France learning about how the first kindergarten programs were developed. Favorite Food? Pasta Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in? I’m very crafty, love Disney World and Harry Potter, spend a lot of time with my dog, and am happiest when I’m with my husband Shawn and two kids, Katelyn and Joey.
