Favorite teacher? My favorite teacher was my high school band director, Jack Hahn. He inspired me to be a music teacher. When I was in college, I did my student teaching with him and my elementary music teacher, Marilyn Darrick. Mr. Hahn became my mentor. He inspired me to always give back to my community and even encouraged me to open my music store, Music of the Bay. If you were not in education what other profession would you like to attempt? I have always wanted to help people, so I think I would be a doctor. Medicine fascinates me. Do you have pets? I have a dog named Glory. She is a rat terrier/beagle mix. I also have a long haired cat named Buddy and a short haired cat named Squeeks. Favorite Color? My favorite color is red. Have you seen my car? Favorite Quote or Saying? People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. Where is the farthest place you have ever traveled? When I was in high school, I toured Europe with The Youth of America Concert Band. We travelled to Belgium, France, Italy, Germany and The Netherlands. That trip changed my life. Favorite Food? I love Sushi Hobbies or Activities/Organizations you are active in? I am an artistic member of Cranberry Coast Concerts and Director of Camp CCC, a music camp sponsored by Cranberry Coast Concerts. I am also faculty advisor to K-Kids which is sponsored by Kiwanis, International. I love to play music and sing. I am also an avid reader and enjoy hiking the trails here on Cape Cod with my husband and 3 boys.
